Coaching
Systemic Team Coaching for forward-thinking organizations looking to develop highly effective teams that deliver value to all stakeholders.
TEAM COACHING
What is Systemic Team Coaching?
Today’s 21st Century organisations are increasingly faced with volatile, unpredictable, complex, and ambiguous (or VUCA) situations. To compete, adapt and innovate in today’s fast moving world, today’s teams need to become more dynamic, agile and collaborative with the ability to adapt in uncertain circumstances.
‘Systemic team coaching is a process by which a team coach works with a whole team, both when they are together and when they are apart, in order to help them improve both their collective performance and how they work together, and also how they develop their collective leadership to more effectively engage with all their stakeholder groups to jointly transform the wider business.’ Source: Hawkins, Leadership Team Coaching.

RESEARCH
What does it take for a Leadership Team to transition from Series A to Series B?
Specialising in working with Startup and Scale-Up Leadership Teams, on my recent Senior Team Coaching Practitioner course, I teamed-up with fellow Coach Becca Sweetman to find out more about what it takes for a Leadership Team to navigate from Series A to B.
We interviewed post Series B CEOs and European VCs with experience in the A to B transition, to gain insights into the typical themes and challenges Founders and their Leadership Teams face when they embark on this journey.
WHAT CLIENTS SAY
Featured Testimonial
Our recent team coaching session, guided by Becca and Johnny, was a truly valuable experience.
Their warm and knowledgeable approach helped our new exec team gain crucial insights through the PERILL survey, setting a strategic structure for our future meetings.
The survey outcomes have provided clear directions for our teams continued alignment and improvement. This has been instrumental in gearing us up for a successful journey ahead.

TEAM COACHING
Our Approach
We use a proven Systemic Team Coaching framework that draws on the 5 Disciplines of an Effective team (developed by Peter Hawkins – see below), working in partnership with the team leader and team member’s to co-design an effective team development journey. With core learning at the centre, we work with you and your team to develop and embed a continuous learning culture throughout the programme.
“A High value creating team is a team that continually co-creates greater beneficial value with, and for all, their stakeholders, current and future.”
Peter Hawkins
How we partner on the coaching journey
We work together in a coaching relationship to help best enable you and your stakeholders to fulfil your vision and goals for the team, the business and your stakeholders. Using a 5 stage process, we work closely with the Team Leader and team members to discover the challenges, co-create and map out a coaching journey, partner on executing the coaching development agenda and work towards a mindset of continuous learning throughout the process.
Five Stage Process
The 5 stages include:
Phase 1: Scoping and agreement with the Sponsor and Team Leader.
Phase 2: Inquiry and discovery into the team and its context. This is the process of really discovering the underlying issues and dynamics of the team in its organisational context.
Phase 3: Developing the team coaching agenda, and contracting the work.
Phase 4: Executing and Engaging to fulfil the team coaching development Agenda
Phase 5: Review, Evaluation, Learning.
